Over the years, we have significantly grown our network of interior systems experts. In our first 12 years we quickly expanded across Canada and became the technology partner for just over 80% of ALL Ontario Drywallers who generate more than $10,000,000 annually. My job is simple to explain yet challenging to execute well… In short, I oversee all operations, delegate authority, and ensure that the team has everything they need to perform at the highest levels.
What helped Chris become an effective team player?
Growing up on a farm was the single greatest factor in making me an effective team player. Our whole family had to pull together as a team every single day to maintain our way of living, which instilled the work ethic I have to this day and taught me how important team work is.

What helped Jason become an effective team player?
I learned very early in life on our farm that it is easier to work as a team whenever possible. The first thing I did each time I was faced with a significant task was I gathered people with the appropriate skills so the task could be competed as best as possible. In my current environment, this approach to completing tasks has proved invaluable. When I create a software solution for any given scope of work, I gather the widest spectrum of perspectives possible on what the scope really should be and how best to complete the project.

Like Chris and Jason, my experiences working on the farm had the largest impact on making me an effective team player. Attending the University of Western Ontario for engineering and working in robotics at Honda Canada Mfg., of course, helped me work so closely and so well the Plexxis team.

What does Jennifer do at Plexxis?
I ensure we identify every single need, and wish, of our customers so we can create the most effective implementation plan that delivers the most value with the easiest deployment all while making sure we live up to each and every promise we make.
My experience in the trade enables me to perform an extremely detailed needs analysis and discovery. Once this is completed, I help the sales team review the proposals that they create for each customer. In all these years, there has not been any two proposals alike as our software is tailored to every process unique to each customer. A lot of attention goes into this process so we have the best plan right out of the gate.
Once a new customer comes board will lay out a detailed training schedule, involve myself in the training, and ensure that we complete the implementation on the timeline promised while tackling any special issues that may arise.
What helped Jennifer become an effective team player?
I grew up in a small community which requires you to ‘get involved’ if you want to make a future for yourself. I always involved myself in as many team sports and community services as possible. Going back, I can’t remember a sport that I wasn’t involved in either as a coach and trainer or an athlete. I lived and breathed activity and working with others so now it’s just second nature.

My job is to build relationships with interior systems contractors from all over the world and show them why Plexxis is the best technology solutions for the trade. I also consult with many people in the industry who keep me updated on our competitors and industry trends and so I can help our team maintain our competitive edge.

What helped Chad become an effective team player?
I was very fortunate in that I was on highly competitive teams since I was 8 years old. My experiences being in a team environment span professional sports, law enforcement, graphical design and interface design, sales and marketing, crisis resolution and critical stress management. Being continually faced with situations where failure could result in highly unfortunate and drastic life changes, or even life ending consequences, had the most impact on developing my work ethic, resourcefulness, and being mindful of the of assigned duties when working as team.

I oversee the information technology division at Plexxis which provides fully managed IT services to our customers.
